Keller India has successfully laid the foundation for a greenfield food manufacturing plant in Nalbari, Assam. This project, a significant step toward boosting economic activity in the region, highlights Keller’s expertise in delivering customized geotechnical solutions.
The design-and-build project addressed complex subsoil conditions using Vibro Stone Columns and Vibro Compaction techniques.
By employing large-diameter stone columns, Keller effectively mitigated the risk of liquefaction and enhanced the bearing capacity for more than 20 structures across the site. This approach offered an efficient alternative to traditional deep foundation systems, ensuring both stability and cost-effectiveness.
In addition to the stone columns, Keller completed blanketing works in record time, demonstrating the team’s commitment to seamless execution. The project also aligned with Keller’s sustainability goals, featuring a zero-water wastage strategy made possible by a state-of-the-art water recirculation system.
With this project, Keller has set the groundwork for future industrial development in Assam.
