Reinforcing its position as an employer of choice in the industry, Keller India has won two Vishwakarma Awards for Best People Practices and Best Safety Practices.
The Vishwakarma Awards are organised by the Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC), which is set up jointly by the Planning Commission, Government of India and the Indian construction industry. The awards recognise businesses and individuals in HSEQ, HR and Operations, who are making a mark on the construction industry and raising standards for all.
It’s not the first time that Keller India has been recognised by the organisation. In 2021, the team were commended for their approach to the safety and wellbeing of our people during the height of the COVID pandemic.
This time, the awards highlighted our achievements in and commitment to sustainability, and corporate social responsibility, talent development, implementation of global HR policies, and fostering a culture of learning and development.
As well as our focus on safety excellence – putting the safety and wellbeing of our employees before everything else with progressive, inclusive HSEQ procedures and employee engagement programmes.
“The Best People Practices award reinforces our commitment to attracting, retaining and developing top talent, and making Keller India a great place to work,” says J Subramanian, Head of HR, India. “It is a testament to the dedication and hard work that employees, on and off-site, and our HR team, have put into creating a positive, inclusive and equitable work environment.”
HSEQ Manager, Manoj Rajbhar, adds: “Winning the Best Safety Practices award reflects our unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety at our sites, offices and yards. This recognition will inspire our Safety function and site leadership teams to continue their efforts to promote a safe and healthy work environment for all."
